This place is ridiculously good. They make their own sausage and boudin. All sides and desserts are homemade as well as the rolls. Myself, husband and two kids ate this for lunch, then again at dinner and lunch the next day. It's alot of food. And excellent. Excellent service as well!!
You better believe it that's some of the best smoke turkey I have ever put in my mouth. The brisket is just as good and the ribs fall apart sauce is something I've never ate like before potato salad very good. It's worth the wait.
Legit the best BBQ i've ever had. Staff was very personable and friendly. I highly recommend coming here and would make the 30 minute drive again. Great music playlist as well.
I am getting close to 50 years old and I have eaten barbecue all across these United States and I would have to say that red bird makes the best barbecue I've ever had .
They earned their place in Texas monthly with EVERY bite. With every bite there was a pause, a moment, that was pure magic. The staff went beyond friendly and even waved us back when they saw us admiring their pits. We will definitely be back! Come hungry, I was upset that I got full.
Redbird BBQ did not disappoint. We ordered the 1/2 lb sampler with Brisket, turkey, ribs and green onion sausage along with cheesy potatoes and potato salad. The brisket was my favorite and literally melts in your mouth. It was moist, flavorful and delicious as was the turkey, sausage and ribs. My 2nd favorite were the ribs, perfectly seasoned and delicious. The cheesy potatoes were perfectly cooked, delicious with a little kick of spice. The potato salad is somewhat different from southern potato salad but it was delicious. The food was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. Equally impressive was the service. The servers were well coordinated with each other, friendly and welcoming. It most certainly was a good vibe and will go back.
Stood in line for around 30-40 minutes before ordering. I will say the line itself is short, the service is just a taddddd slow. Having another person or two will surely speed up the process. I ordered the meat sampler, which comes with 1/4 pound of all their meat selections which includes turkey, chopped and sliced brisket, pork rib, and sausage. I also got the banana pudding, rolls, potato salad, and cornbread salad. It was worth the wait. This might be the best barbecue I have ever eaten in my life. The brisket is so soft and melts in your mouth. Pair it with their bbq sauce, and everything else - it's truly perfect. Their meat sampler was a good starter for me, it allowed me to try a little bit of everything. I wish more bbq places had something similar. The sides were also really flavorful and out of this world. Will be visiting again if I lived closer.
Keeping it short & simple. Truly incredible. The best craft BBQ I've ever had. So glad to see this on Port Neches Ave., especially right next to Neches Brewery.
